A prisoner in Khanti prison gets a special attention of all the inmates
and prison staffs.

The anonymous prisoner was kept in a special room with special guards
and was never allowed to be interacted with other inmates and cover the
face while going out, said prisoners who were recently released.

The strange man who was brought into the prison a few days after the
helicopter crushed of former SPDC's Secretary 2 , Lieutenant General Tin
Oo and his party in February 2002, was even covered on the face while
cutting hair, said the prison barber.

The military Intelligence interrogates him every alternate hour, a
prison warder said. But " even the prison staffs do not know his case and
it is a top secret" , he added.

The Khanti prison locate at Lavoy, three miles away from Khanti town
hold 250 odds prisoners.

After the depeyin incident 17 members of National League for Democracy
were also kept in this prison.
