San Suu Kyi on Hunger Strike

Burma opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi has gone on hunger
strike against her detention by military junta, said United
State department.
In the statement today, US was concerned for Noble Laureate
Mrs. Suu Kyi and call for her immediate release.
Suu Kyi, 58, was arrested after at May 30 after regime's
thugs attacked on her party, National League for Democracy
members while she is touring to northern parts of Burma.
She is detaining at a secret places for her own safety, regime
said.
Recently, Military Intelligence Chief General Khin Nyunt,
a newly appointed Prime Minister blamed on Suu Kyi's opposition
party, NLD for frustrating reforms in the country.
