June 25, 2003: As a veteran Burmese Journalist of 56 years, continuous service, I like to report to the world that the Burmese military government had assassinated the Burmese National Leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and she is definitely dead.

After the May 30th. ambush, the SPDC government officially stated that ' Aung San Suu Kyi the Nobel peace Laureate and democracy leader had not been injured was in good health and placed under protective custody'. Apart from this few facts the Burmese generals provide no additional information about Daw Suu. Where she is been kept is still secret. They leaked a short news saying she is kept in the Notorious Insein Prison and when world condemned that piece the generals refuted. Necessary information about the lady is completely wrapped.

Though the Burmese military is creating a picture of her life, alive, it is evident that the world will never see her anymore. Covering detail facts and keeping the Lady in-communicado is the convincing proof to believe she is
dead.

For their side of the story the Burmese generals produced a dramatic stage show, acted by United Nation Special Envoy Mr. Razali Ismail. To make authentic evidence, he talked a lot about his interview. Problem is that Mr. Razali is an interested person in this case. He is profiting, making business deals with the Burmese generals and no court would accept him as an independent witness. Moreover he talked several times repeatedly about his interview and his many words are not consistent, differ with one another, no judge would believe his testimonies.

On these grounds I am certain, that the 57 years old democracy leader Daw Aung Suu Kyi had followed her father U Aung San's fate, who died by an assassin in 1947.

To counter my allegation the SPDC government can simply release the lady who committed no crime. Or, if the generals can provide strong reason for keeping her in custody the Burmese government must grant interview to the Lady. Her sons, brothers, sisters and her friends from Rangoon diplomatic community who know her well. Otherwise the world's bravest democracy icon is definitely dead.

In conclusion I like to request the United Nations Secretary-General Mr.Kofi Annan, U.S. President Mr.George W.Bush, British Prime Minister Mr. Tony Blair and other world leaders to take appropriate action in accordance with my claim.
