Dear Editor,
Are we expecting the U.S to help us for a regime change in
Burma? (President Bush Betrays Democracy and the Burmese People:
Kanbawza Win) Do you believe that President Bush or the U.S
will help bring democracy in Burma? Our citizens and movement
inside will solve the problem of Burma. When the movement
has a tradition of waiting hands from the outsiders, the longer
the military government will retain power. We should learn
the lessons of the U.S invasion in Iraq. While Saddam Hussein
has been toppled by the coalition troops, the country is still
facing war against each other, having one more enemy to fight,
the Americans.
