Burma's opposition (UNA) denounces SPDC's road map

United Nationalities Alliance (UNA) issued a statment denoucing the first step of " Road Map to Democracy" on Human Rights Day (10 December).

Just before the opening of ASEAN summit in Japan and the international forum on Burma held in Thailand, UNA criticised the "National Convention" as a repetition of the old National Convention proposed in 1996.

Although there are criticism from opposition groups and international community, SPDC will continue its plan.
