Five KNU delegates left for Rangoon

Five delegates from Karen Nation Union (KNU) left for Rangoon on 3 December to study SPDC’s development project along the border area.

Phado Mahn Sha Lar Phann, the General Secretary of KNU confirmed that no official agreement shall be made between SPDC and KNU before the forthcoming meeting between top KNU leaders and the military junta.

The delegation includes Colonel Johnny and Captain Soe Soe.

Colonel Sann Pwit, SPDC defense ministry official, visited KNU in Maesod on 22 November.
