NLD prepares to celebrate National Day

The NLD party members in Burma are preparing to celebrate the 83rd National Day at Chauk Htat Gyi Monastery in Rangoon by providing nourishments to Buddhist monks and hearing religious sermons on 18 November.

The celebration is to be held in the monastery because the authorities closed down the NLD Head Office.

Despite the detentions of all the NLD top leaders including Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, NLD members are contriving to carry on the national spirit.
