Magwe Division NLD women urges authority to reopen their office

Magwe Division NLD women wrote to their local divisional election commission and urged the authorities to reopen their office which was shut down after Dipeyin incident which occurred on 30 May.

The chairwoman of Magwe Division NLD women branch, Daw Sandar Win said that the women urged the authorities to reopen their office as soon as possible so that they could resume their official duties.

They were told that they should keep quiet until they receive a reply from the top.

But she refused to keep quiet or sign an agreement to that effect.

Other NLD members from 12 townships from the division in central Burma also sent letters to their respective election commissions.
