Daw May Hnin Kyi’s health not good after her release

The health condition of the MP of Mogok, Daw May Hnin Kyi who was released on 9 November from Insein Prison is not good, according to her husband, U Moe Hein.

56-year-old Daw May Hnin Kyi was arrested in connection with Dipeyin incident and spent nearly four months inside the jail.

She was released after she staged a hunger strike for three days, according to her family members. As a result, she is said to be physical weak and unwell after the ordeal.

She had to be treated by a doctor as soon as she was released from the prison, according to her husband.

She has been suffering from diabetes and lost weight during her imprisonment.
