NLD youths meeting Daw Aung San Suu

Three NLD youths including Ko Zaw Lay from Amarapura Township
who were arrested by the authorities at Dipeyin incident and
recently released from Monywa military hospital have departed
for Rangoon to meet Dr. Tin Myo Win, the family doctor of
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
The three were seriously wounded during the 30 May at Dipeyin
incident in upper Burma. According to NLD party members in
Mandalay, they could be invited by Daw Aung San Suu Kyi to
meet the UN special human rights envoy, Mr. Paulo Sergio Pinheiro
as eyewitnesses.
Dr. Daw Yu Yu May who had been treating the three youth told
DVB that one of them, Ko Tun Win was wounded with a broken
arm.
Ko Zaw Lay’s right arm was also broken and wounded
on the head. As the result of the destruction of his nerve,
he is unable to keep his head still.
