We are very much shaken by the news of hunger strike staged by our leader the Nobel laureate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. She is staging hunger strike, a non-violent method to catch the attention of the international community and we are very much shaken by it.

We are very worried that something might happen to her. She is a very rare leader. The whole country would be very grateful to the generals if they could stop Daw Aung San Suu Kyi from staging hunger strike by arranging political dialogues as soon as possible.
