Reactions of NLD members on Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s hunger strike

We are really saddened by the news. The NLD members will be discussing about it. Our situation here is – as you know, we want to do many things but we can’t do anything. The NLD has to do something it has to do. We are all stirred by the news of her hunger strike.

If the news is not true, the military authority should let the ICRC see her. We do not feel good in talking about it. We are very saddened to learn the news about our leader. We don’t want them to treat our leader like this because the whole country has much hope in her.
