Kachin Independent Organization ( KIO) leader, Lamung Tu Jai left to Myitkyina from Laiza to attend 66th, Birthday party of Rev. Saboi Jum on 22 Dec, 2003.

Birthday party will be held on 29thDecember 2003 in Myitkyina, the capital city of Kachin State.

According to the reporter, the Kachin Independent Organization leader, Gen. Lamung Tu Jai , the New Democratic Army( Kachin) leader, Zahkung Ting Ying and prime minister Gen. Khin Nyunt are invited to attend at birthday party.

Gen. Lamung Tu Jai brought much of precious gifts for prime minister Gen.Khin Nyunt. "We don't know what he will going to discuss at the party. We hope that after this party the fate of the Kachin people will be changed into something,' says a Kachin youyh.

Rev. Saboi Jum is one of the most important persons in peace talking between the Kachin Independent Army/oganization and military junta.
