Christmas songs are floating
everywhere. With these songs, the chairperson of KNU sends the clear
message to his Karen people. "We, the KNU, firmly support this position
so that the questions of the ethnic nationalities and democracy
may be resolved politically for the establishment of genuine and
durable peace. However, the SPDC military regime tried to hoodwink
the people and the international community by holding what it called
National Convention."
