  INVITATION LETTER

Date: October 31, 2003

The Battle of Political Defiance No.79 - "Anti-Dictatorship Peoples' Freedom Movement" will continue. Khin Nyunt acting like a cry-baby is complaining the US’s economic sanction as a major source for the development of prostitution in Burma. In his complaints his efforts in drug eradication also is hindered due to the lack of the US’s cooperation.

That is why we have countered his complaints point by point in our “SECOND OPEN LETTER TO BO KHIN NYUNT”. On coming Sunday, we will knock the regime embassy’s door and hand over our letter to Khin Nyunt. The copies are already sent to the President Bush, White House and EU’s secretary of humanitarian assistance department to understand the situation better.

Folks, the clock for the regime’s doomsday is ticking. Inside Burma, the people especially, the members of NLD are spreading their demands to the regime :

(a) The immediate and unconditional release of NLD leader, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and all political prisoners.

(b) The immediate reopening of all NLD offices that have been forcibly sealed and freedom to participate in political activities for all political parties.

(c) The implementation of unanimous UNGA resolutions declaring that the desire for democracy by the people has been reflected in the results of the 1990 elections.

(d) An independent enquiry commission to investigate the “May 30’s MASSACRE”.

The political awareness of the student activists, who are calling the people to confront their fear of the dictatorial rule that needs to be uprooted in order to eliminate their poverties and famine, is at maximum.

Given all these circumstances, we would like to urge all the activists, oppositions and the Burma’s freedom lovers around the globe for the unity and co-operations knowing that we can not expect much help from outside. Our patience, hardworking and learning from the past experience will eventually pay off achieving our goal in the very near future.

“DOWN WITH THE ROAD-MAP which means the direction to grave in Burmese.”
