  The Coordinating Committee to implement the resolutions of Fort Wayne conference

The historic conference on 'Road Map for Democracy in Burma' was successfully held in Fort Wayne, Indiana, from October 11 to 12, 2003. In accordance with the guidelines and suggestions from leaders of the National Coalition Government of the Union of Burma (NCGUB) and the National Council of the Union of Burma (NCUB) at the follow up strategic meeting in New York on October 26, the participants formed the Coordinating Committee to implement the resolutions of Fort Wayne Conference. The committee will be composed of, but not limited to, two to three members from each panel of the conference.

In addition to the current members underneath, the committee will be expanded, based on the nomination and criteria. The additional member may be self nominated or nominated by the current committee members.

The criteria of the committee member must be:

1. be committed to devoting time and energy.

2. participate in meeting either face-to-face or by phone or online discussion.

3. take specific tasks within a time frame assigned by the committee.

4. be able to contribute strategic thinking to the group.
