Map for Democracy in Burma
(Conference)
Given the current situations of Burma, the meeting was held by
the democratic forces of Fort Wayne, Indiana and other states in
Washington DC on June 29, 2003. The participants in the meeting
were Washington based revolutionary forces and the democratic forces
from different states.
Prime minister of NCGUB, Dr. Sein Win explain the updated conditions
of Burma including the detention of opposition leader DASSK and
the role of international pressure from United Nations and other
democratic organizations towards democracy in Burma. Then, all the
participants successfully discussed for the future movement.
In order to augment the revolution and to urgently reach the democratic
goals, we all agree upon calling the conference that should include
complete and diverse groups. And we all decided to have the conference
held in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Upon all these agreements and decisions from this meeting, the following
people formed the organizing committee for the conference.
In order to become a performance-based and goal-driven conference,
we will extend the organization committee with the democratic forces
from different states.
Conference will be held on August 30th –31st,
2003 at Fort Wayne, Indiana.
