Your days are over,
the Burmese Military Junta, the THUGS!
(We, the “National Revival Group of Burma”(NRGB) were
moved to sorrow
than were moved to anger, because of animalistic, barbaric goon
squads’-
the blind led by the blind Burmese Military Junta (BMJ) –
assault on
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi (ASSK) the Nobel Laureate Leader of the “National
League for Democracy” (NLD) and company and her supporters
for democracy
and freedom, at Tabayin, Sagaing Division, Northern Burma, on May
30,
2003. We firmly believe there is always an “Ultimate Solution”
of any
national catastrophe befell any country in the world. Here is our
stance.)
The blatant, schemed assault on Aung San Suu Kyi and company and
her
pro-democracy demonstrators at Tabayin is tantamount to paving the
way to
Armageddon between pro-democracy and anti-democracy forces.
Actually, ASSK was on her party organizational tour, with the implicit
understanding of the BMJ. During her tour, at one point, the BMJ
even
praised her efforts.
The BMJ underestimated ASSK’s popularity with the Burmese
masses (even
most Burmese military personnel adore ASSK in their mind, silently)
and
her political influence on them. The BMJ conjectured that after
13
years--so long a time--suppressing her in all possible ways, most
unscrupulously, her positive image as a legendary national leader
must be
tarnished and she was a dud. But her party organizational tour proved
to be a
huge success.
While in Kachin State during the tour, the Kachin Independence
Organization (KIO), a minority racial armed group, which had established
understanding with the BMJ for ceasefire, gave ASSK protection and
manifested that the KIO expected to have political discussions with
the NLD. The
BMJ, on seeing how ASSK was so popular even with minority racial
armed
groups, not to mention her popularity with Burmese people wherever
she
went during her tour, were so frustrated to the core and lost their
mental poise, so much so that they overreacted, or psychologically
speaking, the BMJ overcompensated and assaulted the opposition groups.
Her words during “1988 Pro-democracy Uprising” (the
Four 8’s Uprising)
were still reverberating in our ears. ASSK goes, “If it is
for the good
of Burma, kill me.” She really meant it. ASSK is such a courageous
world-class leader. Her pithy expressions about the struggles of
the
Burmese people for democracy and freedom are overwhelming. Whenever
asked by
the Burmese masses, about the time when they enjoy democracy and
freedom, here again ASSK is like, “No work; no hope. If you
want democracy
and freedom, work for it. No work; no hope.” The political
erudition she
used to expound about political dissent is so profound and
far-reaching. At meetings with the people ASSK is all, “ If
you want democracy,
don’t say that a thing is good unless you think it is good.
And also don’t
accept a thing, unless it is acceptable”. These words were
succinctly
delivered by her wherever she went on the stump. Her words are brilliant
and they will be deeply and indelibly embedded in our mind.
We, the NRGB bristling with skepticism about the BMJ, the Thugs
hereby
expressed our opinion about the present political chaos, deliberately
instigated by the BMJ.
(1) To all intents and purposes, the national reconciliation between
the BMJ and the NLD and minority racial groups and other democracy
forces
can only materialize through well-meaning negotiations, in the interest
of our country. But, up till now, the BMJ, the Thugs have been evading
to do so, by creating outrageously obnoxious pretexts and stratagems.
But all along ASSK opened her arms and called on the BMJ to negotiate
with them. The BMJ ignored her. ASSK on a certain occasion challenged
the
BMJ with her fiery words, “ Do the BMJ have the mind to negotiate,
at
all?” It was a very apt retort. We totally believed the BMJ
would never
negotiate with the opposition parties until and unless being put
under
tremendous pressure by international community. The BMJ is just
hellbent on clinging onto autocratic power, at all costs, for their
lifetime.
The BMJ is our nemesis like Ne Win who died of old age. Ne Win’s
natural death was a great loss for Burmese people, who wished him
condemned
for his crime against humanity and punished with death penalty,
by the “
International Criminal Court” at The Hague.
This time, Burmese people got the godsend chance to send Saddam
Than
(sein) (Hussein) (not Than Shwe) before the “International
Criminal
Court” at The Hague. The BMJ is keenly aware of the gravity
of the
political turmoil created by themselves. “Tabayin Massacre”
is the death knell
for the BMJ. Burmese political campaign for democracy and freedom
under
the leadership of ASSK is no longer just a national issue; it becomes
an international issue in terms of regional political stability.
(2) In anticipation of the international intervention like the U.N.
in
Burmese politics, the BMJ is, in all likelihood, intriguing to get
bargaining chips at the negotiation table. We believe the BMJ will
intensify its brutality on Burmese people like killing the opposition
groups en
masse by setting death camps, gang-raping our women folk right under
our nose, beheading, bayoneting, throat-cutting innocent people,
displacing the people by force and plundering our properties like
robbers as
Talaban did in Afghanistan. The BMJ will sit at the negotiation
table
and at the same time will raise the momentum of most atrocious crime
against humanity, by way of showing how they can wield the military
power
to destruct the Burmese people. The massage of the BMJ is “
Don’t try us
as war criminal. Just find the ways how we can be exonerated for
the
most nauseating crime against humanity committed by us” .The
BMJ might
use patriotism as a last refuge.
(3) One possible legitimate reason of the direct U.N. involvement
in
Burmese politics is to take actions against drug-trafficking the
BMJ are
doing in collusion with drug lords. Thai, in spite of their attempts,
could not have deterred the BMJ’s drug-trafficking, so effectively.
Thai
military have to be given move help by the U.S-led coalition forces
sponsored by the U.N. These forces must be given the mandate to
co-operate
with certain minority racial groups in Burma like Shans, whose women
folk become the butt of Burmese soldier’s rape. The BMJ is
using Shan
women as sexual rewards bestowed on their soldiers who excell in
genocidal
war against minority racial groups. At least, Shans, maintaining
their
national prestige have to be given special considerations for being
maltreated by the Burmese soldiers.
(4) We can draw several similarities between Afghanistan and Burma.
Virtually the BMJ is the Asian version of Talaban, who ruthlessly
suppressed the Afghanistan people under the pretext of the revival
of Islamic
moral values. The BMJ killed the Burmese people like animals - worse
than Talaban –randomly just for their own benefits.
The BMJ stands second to Afghanistan in drug-trafficking.
We firmly believe that like Talaban the BMJ will have no qualms
about
attacking the U.S. or the U.S interest if they ever have the military
capabilities to do so, especially, at the present moment when the
U.S. is
putting enormous pressure on the BMJ, for the release of ASSK and
for
the negotiation with the NLD and minority racial groups and other
democracy forces.
The U.S.-led coalition forces sponsored by the U.N will be
heartily welcomed by the Burmese, who have been looking up to the
U.S. It is
about time to rescue the Burmese people from most uncivilized crimes,
committed by the BMJ, the Thugs. If such an armed intervention could
have happened in Afghanistan, why not in Burma under the Burmese
Talaban,
the BMJ?
(5) By analogy, Burma and Iraq are also the same in terms of
eradicating the opposition parties and its own people. Saddam Husein
of Iraq
waged genocidal war on its own people and so did the BMJ of Burma
on
minority racial groups. In waging ethnic cleansing the BMJ committed
most
inhumane crimes especially against Shans. The megalomaniac Saddam
Than-sein (not Than Shwe) head of the BMJ, who used to think that
he is the
reincarnation of an ancient king, has been trying to revive a lost
dynasty
by clamping down on minority racial groups, as the ancient Burmese
kings did. Like Saddam Hussein the BMJ have been creating a lot
of
troubles for its neighboring countries. The BMJ have thorny problems
like
drug-trafficking, human-trafficking, and refugees problems with
the
neighboring countries, especially with Thai. Only U.S.-led coalition
forces
sponsored by the U.N. can reprimand the BMJ and bring it to its
knees.
We, the NRGB with the truest welfare of Burma at heart, demand the
following:
(a) The immediate release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, all NLD’s
members,
and her supporters for the sake of avoiding another “Four
8’s
Uprising,” which can bring about the total disintegration
of Burma-----secession
leading to the “National Meltdown”.
(b) Negotiations between the BMJ and the NLD and minority racial
groups
and other democracy forces must be enforced under the auspices of
the
U.N.
(c) Form a “New Burma” according to the “New Constitution
of Burma” by
which the Head of State of Burma (Federation of Burma) will be
appointed the Supreme Commander in Chief of Burmese military--a
very powerful
legal deterrent to grapping the political power by the Burmese military.
(d) Urge the U.S.-led coalition forces sponsored by the U.N. to
enter
Burma, by all means, to settle the political problems, in the cause
of
Burmese national reconciliation.
(e) In the meantime, all minority racial groups must be protected
from
the genocidal campaign launched by the BMJ, in all possible manners,
diplomatically, as well as militarily.
(f) Send the BMJ leaders before the International Criminal Court
at The
Hague.
(g) Taking ASSK into so-called protective custody by the BMJ all
but
annihilated our hope for the reemergence of democracy and freedom
in
Burma. ASSK might be used as a ransom in the bid for not sending
the BMJ
leaders before the “International Criminal Court” at
The Hague. So free
ASSK unconditionally, in the cause of the restoration of democracy
and
freedom in Burma.
(h) As a last resort, we call for the General Strike against the
lowdown BMJ, the Thugs.
(i) Help Burmese people, reduced to dire poverty, through sheer
stupidity of the BMJ, with foods, medical facilities and clothes,
as soon as
possible by the international community.
--Your days are over, the BMJ, “the Thugs”.
--The Burmese people with the help of the international community
will
triumph in their struggles for democracy and freedom.
--Peace will prevail forever in Burma, Land of the Free and Home
of the
Brave.
--Certain well-intentioned Burmese military personnel manipulated
by
the decadent BMJ, will join us in our struggles for national revival.
Right On!
