BURMA'S DEMOCRATIC MOVEMENT: ACTORS, OPERATIONS AND ACTIONS ( CTY )

Dear U CTY & U Bilal and All,

Yes, the Committee for Restoration of Democracy for Burma (CRDB) is missed out in the overview from U CTY. I first time met the late U Tin Maung Win in the early 1975 in Bangkok and before his departure to US and in September 1988 again with the late U Ye Kyaw Thu to organise the 8888 demonstration in Bangkok in the name of CRDB.U Tin Maung Win and U Ye Kyaw Thu, they both are the founding member of CRDB. They both have done the great deal for the caused in struggle for Democracy for our motherland and sad to see that they both are gone with out seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, that is Democracy for Burma. I attended the 1993 International Burma Conference New York USA representing CRDB Australia. CRDB is well and alive and I have recently spoken to U Kin Oung and he talked to me about U Tin Maung Win's Book and he is translating into English.Burmese edition is available from Khit Pyaing journal P.O.Box 115, Raminthara PO Bankhen Bangkok 10220. Also I have spoken to Dr. Tint Wai CRDB Australia and he told me he has just came back from US and stayed with U Tin Maung Taw's(CRDB) family. I heard that there will be an international CRDB conference in Australia.

In Solidarity,
Henry Soe-Win
